Finally The Real Culprit!
At long last the truth is revealed! As I said on Monday, I have decided to add one more strip to this storyline just to tie it up a little more.
On another note, some of the comments that were left on Monday’s strip did not show up after I approved and even commented on them! I’m not sure why, but if you don’t see your comment, it’s not that I didn’t approve it, it’s because – well, it just didn’t work. Have any other ‘tooners had this problem?
All’s well that ends well! π
Chris, to get rid of the double comic, you might try to delete the original comic then refresh your cache. Once the comic is gone, re-import it but change it’s title slightly.
If you made any changes to your dashboard settings since your last update, you might want to look there as well.
Double the pleasure with the post.
And now the problem is solved with the President.
Double your pleasure, double your fun, it’s two comics from one.
On a technical note, if the problem persists beyond a one shot event, I suggest you check to see if your hosting service has recently updated their version of PHP and you might have a ComicPress compatibility issue. Seems to be a problem other comics have recently experienced.
I have not had an issue with the comments, but I don’t moderate mine. I use Askmet to filter out the spam.
However, I have seen the double post. If you look in the directory where ComicPress saves all of the comics, you will find the comic is in there twice with the same name, but slightly different extensions. You can delete one and it will fix the problem. Drop me an email if you have more questions.

GASP… Who woulda thunk it.
Good Copperfield likeness Chris
Thanks Tony, I was pretty proud of that! It looks kind of like him, but a version of him that belongs in the GITM world! π
Oh, that Copperfield will do anything for attention!
Very nice job on Copperfield, Chris!
Thanks Mark! π
Neat trick. Must’ve had a huge mirror! It’s all done with mirrors right? And smoke!
I’m guessin’! But you’ll have to contact Copperfield. But I don’t think he gives up his secrets easily!
