Well Primate Posse™ this draws the current storyline to a close and with that it’s sadly time for another break. Once again I haven’t been putting in the time this strip deserves. I’m really proud of this comic and I need to sit down for a while and figure a few things out. Also, as I said a few posts ago, I’m moving to Winnipeg soon and that is keeping me busy along with not one but 2 temporary jobs. Plus I need to find time to do a painting for an art show this summer. It won’t be anything like this one, but here is an oil painting I finished the other day.It took a little longer than a GITM strip!
I’ll be back, Primate Posse™ and then I’ll actually start promoting the strip again (I really haven’t been doing that at all – but thanks to all the tweeters who have given me a shout out!)
Chris, excellent ending to this story! And a really beautiful painting. I hope your move goes well. Moving is always so stressful. I’m looking forward to being settled into your new place and comicing once again! 😀
Thanks Bill! I’m looking forward to finally selling this place and actually moving!! grrrr. Stupid condo market! Btw, sorry I missed your comment, it’s beena while!
I have ideas, so I will be back! Meantime, I should at least read me some of that awesome Flatt Bear comic!
A 7 million sell out is worth selling out for. That’s an awesome painting Chris.
I agree, and thanks, Tony!
Yes. What p.j. said 🙂
I hope to get on it soon, Nef! Keep toonin’! 🙂
I can sell out on all sorts of things for a lot less. 2 Million ought to do it. I never meet people with crazy checks like that. Please tell me where to meet them.
Seriously though that was funny.
Thanks Rich, I’d like to meet the people with those checks too! Btw, maybe we should meet before I move to Winnipeg. I need to learn to draw like you! 🙂
You see it’s tru-u-ue (shoo-be-dee-doo)
An ape like he-e-e (scooby-doo-bee-doo-bee)
Can learn to be
Good luck with everything, Chris! Your painting of Bryan is amazing, hope your show goes well. Maybe post some pics? Take care and keep in touch!
Thanks, Mark! I’ll post pics of new paintings as soon as I get them properly photographed. And I might just start tooning again. I miss it too much! Better go read Zombie Boy now! 🙂
I hope you will share your projects with us, Chris, and when you’re itching to toon again, I’ll be around. I’m always up for a good laugh!
Hi Mark, thanks for checking in! I’ve been doing quite a bit of work, but I need to document it properly. As soon as it’s done, I’ll post it here. Planning to get back to tooning by september, if all goes well. You can imagine that I’m a little inspired by the return of Bloom County! Anyway, keep up the great work on Zombie Boy, Mark!
